Composite or Hardwood decking?
Decking material has moved on somewhat from the days of slippy softwood decking.
Both Hardwood and Composite decking are the most popular materials we work with. There are some key points to consider when choosing the material for your decking and we will happily guide you through this process and work with you until we have found the right option that works for you.
Hardwood decking
Hardwood such as Western Red Cedar and Balau timber can offer a hardwearing, natural element with warmth and elegance that remains timeless. In the first instance Hardwood timber is the cheaper option to composite but does require more maintenance compared to that of composite decking. It will require regular maintenance and treatment to keep it looking its very best.
Composite decking
Composite decking can offer the beauty of timber but without the maintenance of other natural products. Composite decking is durable, elegant, convenient and very easy to maintain. Due to the large range of composite deck boards available we can easily adapt these to both contemporary and traditional designs.

Decking can be a great way to raise the level of an area within your garden without costly groundworks and retaining walls.

We can also create and build a level threshold if you have rear patio doors or bi-fold doors to create one level form the inside out. Our expert team will offer their advice and the skills to build your outdoor decking area.
